A few years ago I was tired or poor service with my broker at the time and decided to switch to Charles Schwab. I can honestly say I was glad I did. Not only does Schwab provide the investor with a qualify web site that is easy to navagate, but while not the cheapest online broker it is very competitive. Most trades are under $10 and you get a lot with your account. I especially like the research function, the ease to review stocks, the ease to get round the site and really like being able to participate in IPOs. I've been lucky to pick some winners, which is helpful to, and I can't help but think that the simple nature of the Schwab web site has benefited me.
